Here's the "construction site" with switcher and oil tank car.
The fence is Chain link fence with gates, 200 scale ft., HO Scale, Kit, Cast Brass.
At first comes a 1 mm diameter brass tube for the actuating wire. This wire is soldered to the gate at the bottom hinge.
To give the fence more strength I glued wood at the cork bed. I drilled into the wood 1 mm holes for the fence posts.
And with green painted wire mesh...
And now the underground... like project illustrated in Model Railroader May 2006, page 122.
With terminal strips you can adjust easy.
And now the barbed wire. At first I twisted the thin wire around the fence posts. and put a small drop of CA at each fence head.
Now to the barbed wire. I've painted the thin wire and sprinkled the wet paint with Woodland fine turf.
